It turned ok since my friend smokes cigars and it had a strong flame. I have given a Maxi Jet Lighter as a gift and must say that the packaging was a bit embarrassing (plastic and cardboard box, very chep looking). I must say that the new wave of cigar smokers prefer the jet line bc it burns way stronger than the original line which lites like a match would. Most want to look at it, feel the weight (heavy for its size) and just plain beautiful. I have a St Dupont Chinese Gold/Lacquer (from the Prestige/Gatsby line)and people seem to be very impressed with it when I light a cigarette for them. I do bc I travel to Paris and Mexico (lots of smokers).
